Dr Gabriela Bar is an attorney at law and the founder of the law firm Gabriela Bar Law & AI, and she advises EU projects on AI ethics. She works in new technology law and in the law and ethics of artificial intelligence. She is on the Forbes list of the 25 best women business lawyers and on the TOP100 Women in AI in Poland list, and the Lexology Index: Artificial Intelligence 2026 report named her one of the leading experts worldwide. She lectures at universities and has written many publications on AI, digital services and personal data protection. Her memberships include Women in AI, the Polish Information Processing Society, where she is responsible for the legal part of its section on current problems of artificial intelligence, the New Technology Law Association (Stowarzyszenie Prawa Nowych Technologii), the New Technologies Committee of the European Bars Federation (FBE) and the Association of AI Ethicists (AAIE).
